NOJA Power Wins Sustainability Category at Australian Export Awards
Brisbane based Australian manufacturer of electrical switchgear NOJA Power are celebrating their win of the Sustainability and Green Economy category at the Australian Export Awards.
NOJA Power’s early strategic decisions to develop environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional switchgear design has made the company world leaders in solid dielectric insulated recloser technology.
These devices are used in 106 countries worldwide to control the electricity grid, providing improved power reliability for suburbs and cities.
NOJA Power’s OSM Recloser is also commonly used to connect renewable energy generation to the distribution grid.
Not only has NOJA Power developed their environmentally friendly technology, but is among the first switchgear manufacturers to achieve third party accreditation to ISO14067 cradle-to-grave carbon impact for their Recloser products.
NOJA Power has also implemented ISO 14001 Environmental Management and ISO 50001 Energy management systems.
With this data insight, NOJA Power has pledged net carbon zero by 2030.
“Winning an Australian Export Award validates the hard work of NOJA Power´s staff to create sustainable leading edge technology and then take those products to world from our Australian Manufacturing Headquarters,” says NOJA Power Group Managing Director Neil O'Sullivan.
