The Premier of Queensland Opens NOJA Power Factory Expansion
NOJA Power Hosts the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk in Grand Opening Event
Australian Switchgear manufacturer NOJA Power today celebrates the grand opening of its new Brisbane facility by Queensland Premier, the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP.
Driven by extensive international demand from 86 countries, the factory expansion allows the opening on our new facility business to be prepared for the launch of its VISI-SWITCH® Load Break Switch product. The Brisbane based manufacturer has been dedicated to bringing the most advanced and environmentally friendly switchgear to the world, and surging demand has driven the requirement for an increase in manufacturing capacity.
The factory expansion will bring a growth of 50 more jobs at the NOJA Power facility before the end of 2018.
“While the new space is sure to make a huge difference to production, it is the highly skilled workforce’s knowledge and experience that will continue to ensure NOJA Power remains at the forefront of research, development, manufacturing and sales,” says Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk.
“We are grateful to the Premier for officially opening our new facility today in front of all of our staff and a contingent of International Distributors from 60 countries around the world present to celebrate the official launch of the VISI-SWITCH into production and the opening of our new facility,” says NOJA Power Group Managing Director Neil O’Sullivan.
The Honourable Premier was joined at the Grand Opening Event by the local member of State Parliament Di Farmer and other distinguished guests of NOJA Power.
After the opening event, NOJA Power staff led the guests through their facility for a factory tour, showcasing the skill and craftsmanship of the NOJA Power Production team, and the advanced manufacturing techniques developed in house by NOJA Power’s Engineering Team.
NOJA Power also dedicates significant resources to the growth of young talent. The organisation hosts an annual cadetship program for high school leavers taking up engineering study at university, and also sponsors PhD programs.
